Coordination Council

   October 9, 1992 the governments of the Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Republic of Uzbekistan in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic), guided by Article 7 of the Agreement on the establishment of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Agreement was signed in the field of postal and telecommunications coordination of interstate relations.

  In order to coordinate the cooperation of the states - participants of the CIS in the sphere of informatization of 7 October 2002 Decision of the CIS Heads of Government Council of Independent - the Republic of Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, in Chisinau (Republic Moldova), there was established the Coordinating Council of the CIS member-states on informatization attached to the Regional commonwealth in the field of communications (hereinafter - the Coordination Council) the right to consider the issues in the field of information for the consideration of the Council CIS Government Heads in due course. Item #2 of the same Decision approved the Regulations Coordination Council on the CIS Member-States on Informatization attached the Regional commonwealth in the field of communications (hereinafter - Regulations).
