The meeting was attended by the EAC members from the Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation and Ukraine as well as by the representatives of the CIS Executive Committee and RCC Executive Committee.

While considering the first question drafts of the CIS countries Cooperation Agreement on creation, use and development of information and marketing centres network for promoting goods and services to the national markets (Agreement) and of the Provisions on the Working Group on development of interstate network of information and marketing centres for promoting goods and services to the national markets (Provisions) were discussed.

Drafts of these documents were submitted in accordance with the established procedure to the CIS Executive Committee by the Chairman of the Coordination Council of the CIS member states for Informatization attached to RCC, Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation I.O. Schegolev on April 29, 2009. Further, documents were submitted for consideration at the meeting of EAC and of the expert group for finalizing draft Agreement and Provisions (11 June 2009 and August 25, 2009, respectively).

In conclusion, EAC members decided to entrust the CIS Executive Committee to finalize the documents in the light of the discussion and to submit them to the CIS Economic Council for consideration.
