The conference was organized by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Informatization and Communication together with the RCC Executive Committee with the support of the International Telecommunication Union.

Work of the six sections dealing with radio and television, communication networks and systems, information technology development, postal service organization, building modern element base and prospects of facilities and communication technology development was organized within the conference framework. The conference was attended by 193 participants from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as from the companies: JSC Kazakhtelecom, Nursat, B & T Consult.

Scientific and technical conference was full of innovative and scientific proposals. Participants of the sections made some positive contribution to solving current problems in the field of information technology and information protection, operation of railway transport modern telecommunication systems.
