The World Radiocommunication Conference will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, from 23rd of January to 17^th of February, 2012. It will be immediately preceded by the Radiocommunication Assembly held from 16 to 20 of January.

Agenda of the WRC-12 is established by the ITU Council Resolution 1291 (MOD).

The Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications takes active part in the preparatory process for WRC-12 and RA-12, in accordance with the RCC Preparations Plan (approved by the RCC Board Decision 39/5 from 24/09/2008).

The work is conducted by the Working group on preparation for WRC-12 and RA-12 (WR WRC-12/RA-12), under the RCC Commission on EMC and Commission on broadcasting.
