On 15th-16th July 2014 in Astana (Republic of Kazakhstan) the joint 49th session of the RCC Board and 20th session of the Coordination Council for Informatization of the CIS states attached to RCC will be held
In accordance with the decision of the 48th session of the RCC Board and 19th session of the Coordination Council of the CIS member states for Informatization attached to RCC (CCI) the joint 49th session of the RCC Board and 20th session of the Coordination Council of the CIS member states for Informatization attached to RCC (CCI) are scheduled for 15-16 July 2014 in Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Agenda of the joint session includes the number of topical issues of the cooperation in the field of communications. Participants of the session will consider the issues of the preparation to the 70th anniversary of victory in Great Patriotic War 1941-1945, implementation of the Strategy of cooperation of CIS member states in the construction and development of Information Society. The RCC Communications Administrations Heads will summarized the outcomes of the RCC CAs delegations participation in the forums of the International Telecommunication Union as well as they will discuss the preparations for the forthcoming ITU conferences: Plenipotentiary Conference 2014, World Radiocommunication Conference and Radiocommunication Assembly 2015.
It is planned to discuss and adopt the appropriate decisions on the RCC internal activity, including the issue of the amendments and additions to the RCC Regulations, election of the Chairman of the RCC CAs Board and Coordination Council of the CIS member states for Informatization attached to RCC (CCI), Vice-Chairman of the RCC CAs Board for the next period, appointment of Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen of the RCC Working Bodies (RCC Boards and RCC Commissions).
At the joint session the participation of the delegations of the communications administration, which are the RCC full members, and RCC observers as well as distinguished guests from regional and international organizations is planned.
