At the meeting took part Representatives of communication administrations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Working Group on work with the ITU under CICC Chief Research Officer of the Radio Research Institute (FSUE NIIR).
With a welcoming speech to the participants of the meeting addressed the Director General of the RCC Executive Committee Mr. Nurudin Mukhitdinov.
The 22nd meeting was chaired by Mr. Vladimir Minkin, Chairman of the Working Group on work with the ITU under CICC.
The following issues were considered at the meeting:
1. On the final stage of preparation of the RCC CAs for the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2018 (PP-18).
1.1. On the Draft General Proposals of the RCC CAs to the PC-18 and the designation of coordinators.
1.2. On the participation of RCC delegations in the work of the Preparatory Meetings of Regional Organizations for PP-18.
2. On the nomination of 2 experts from the CIS region to the Group on Initiatives in the field of capacity building.
3. On the place, time and agenda of the 35th / 23rd joint meeting of the RCC Commission for the International Coordination Cooperation and the Working Group on Work with the ITU under CICC.
Based on the results of the consideration of the agenda items, the relevant decisions were adopted.
Concluding the 22nd meeting of the Working Group on work with the ITU under CICC, Mr. Vladimir Minkin, Chairman of the ITU Working Group on the work with the ITU, made a summary of the work done and thanked all participants for active participation and constructive decisions.
The Chairman of the ITU Working Group also expressed his gratitude to the RCC Executive Committee for the qualitative preparation for the organization of the 22nd meeting of the Working Group on work with the ITU in the format of the Videoconference.
The Deputy Director General of the RCC Executive Committee Mrs. Natalia Zorya thanked the delegation of the Russian Federation for the opportunity to hold a meeting in the VCS format in the large negotiation complex of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation.
