On 21-22 July 2011 in Moscow (Russian Federation) the International conference on "Innovative directions of the researches in the field of telecommunications in the world" was held.


The international conference was the final event, implemented as a joint project between the ITU and ZNIIS on the international center for telecommunications testing (ICTT) establishment. The project objective is to disseminate knowledge and results of the Institute for testing system-network solutions, communications equipment and services among specialists from the developing countries RCC participants' countries.
The conference was attended by 45 participants from Austria, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Uzbekistan, Finland, France and Switzerland. The reporters at the conference were experts from the RCC participants' countries, representatives of the FSUE ZNIIS and international organizations.
The conference participants discussed the directions of innovation development of telecommunication operators, including the experience of operators in the CIS and international companies - manufacturers of telecommunications equipment in the field of innovative researches. The results of the activities within the joint project between ITU and ZNIIS on the ICTT establishment for the CIS region.
The demonstration of the IXIA decisions on the monitoring of the quality parameters of video services (IPTV) and the joint decision of IXIA/CRIT on the monitoring of the service quality parameters and monitoring of SLA were held in the practical part.
A special interest was shown by the participants in the demonstration of the Knowledge Base developed within the joint project between the ITU and ZNIIS on the ICTT establishment for the CIS region. Access to this Knowledge Base can be obtained by reference:
