Representatives of the Communications Administrations from the RCC participants’ countries: Azerbaijan Republic, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Kazakhstan, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation and also a representative of the RCC Executive Committee took part at the meeting.
Meeting held by the Chairman of the RCC Informatization Commission, Director of State Policy in the creation and development of e-government Ministry of Communications and Mass Communications of Russian Federation Lipov A.
With a greeting, addressed the meeting the Director-General RCC Mukhitdinov N.
The meeting considered the suggestions regarding the project of the provisions of the basic organization, providing methodological and organizational and technical support work in ICT, and also the question of the use of electronic government in order to modernize the economies of the RCC participants’ countries.
During the meeting, participants considered proposals for co-operation of the RCC participants’ countries regarding creation of national electronic library, translation of the national library funds in electronic form and for the exchange of electronic library funds with use of a network the Internet and the other questions of the agenda.
According to standard documents RCC, within the limits of session elections of the leadership of the Commission of the Commission for the next period 2012-2014 have taken place. As Chairman of the Commission, was elected director of the Department of Public Policy in the creation and development of electronic Government Ministry of Communications of the Russian Federation Andrey Lipov. As Vice Chairman of the Commission elected representatives of the Communications Administrations of Azerbaijan Republic, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Uzbekistan and Republic of Moldova.
Finishing the 26th meeting of the Commission the Chairman of the RCC Informatization Commission Lipov A. thanked the participants for constructive work. The participants expressed gratitude to the host country for the high level meeting and a hearty welcome.
