More than 70 representatives of nine RCC Communications Administrations: Azerbaijan Republic, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Uzbekistan and Ukraine took part at the Forum. Besides the representatives of the Republic of Bulgaria, as the RCC observer, representatives and experts from International Telecommunication Union and RCC Executive Committee also took part at the RPM.
At the opening of the Meeting the First Deputy Director General of the JSC Uzbektelecom Mr. Kakhramon A. Yuldashev made a speech of welcome.
Within the RPM for WCIT-12 the information on the WCIT-12 preparations and work of the Council Working group on WCIT-12 was presented to participants.
Participants considered and discussed the preliminary draft RCC Common Proposals on the International Telecommunications Regulations (ITRs). Taking account the remarks and proposals of the participants the draft RCC Common Proposals on the ITRs revision was formed. Some proposals were recommended for further study at next meeting of the RCC Commission for International Cooperation Coordination (22-23 May 2012).
The Meeting decided to endorse the agreed sections of the ITRs and to ask the RCC Executive Committee to send it to the meeting of the Council Working group on WCIT-12 (23-25 April 2012, Geneva, Switzerland).
In conclusion the participants of the Meeting expressed gratitude to the Communications Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, International Telecommunication Union and RCC Executive Committee for warm reception and organization of the work of the Meeting.
