30 September, 2014 in Minsk, Belarus was held the first meeting of the Working Group on the transition of the RCC member-states on the IPv6 protocol and the 21th meeting of the Working Group on Network Communication Management.

In the first half of the day there was held the 1-st meeting of the Working Group of telecommunication and infocommunication Operators Board and RCC Commission of infocommunication on the transition of the RCC member-states to IPv6.

The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Working Group Telecommunication Operators Board and Infocomm and Commission infocommunication the transition countries - members of the RCC to IPv6Vadim Shaybakov who made welcoming address to the participants. Then the word was given to the Deputy of General Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communication Zorya Natalia.

The participants of the joint meeting discussed the following issues:

1. The Working Group structure

2. The project of the Recommended plan for the use of IPv6 in the data transmission network telecommunications operators in the provision of Internet access.

3. The performing with the participation and support of the RCC CAs and the RIPE NCC series of roundtables and educational seminars for the public sector, business, academic and technical community aimed to raise awareness about the problems of IPv6, the introduction of technology IPv6, as well as the discussion of the economic and business prospects for a transition on IPv6;

In the afternoon the 21-st meeting of the Working Group on Network Communication Management at the RCC Commission on infocommunication was held. The meeting was opened by Igor Kireev who welcomed the participants of the Working Group by video conference. Then the word was given to the Deputy of the General Director of the RCC Zorya Natalia, who wished to meeting participants fruitful work.

The participants of the  joint meeting discussed the following issues:

-         The Working Group structure;

-         Working Group's proposals in the Work Plan for 2014-2016;

-         proposals in the draft strategic directions of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of communication activity;

-         elaboration with the technical experts an opportunity to maximize straightening sections of the network to achieve the best indicator of RTD;

-         network preparedness of each of the RCC member-state operators to be omitted from the transit traffic, taking into account the opportunities to expand them upon receiving the order from the customer to large volumes of transit traffic;

-         the optimization of the placement and distribution of information resources in communication networks;

-         the experience in the construction and operation of data centers in the RCC member-states

-         determination of areas of responsibility and ownership on the primary network connection;
